Biz Ideas x1,000

Valuable ideas for you to start your own business

Happy Saturday!

I’ve got 8 business ideas for you today that you’re gonna love! If you aren’t sure who I am or what this email is, you probably found me from a viral IG Reel or Tiktok. I’m the business ideas guy!

Lots of newsletter growth lately, so welcome everyone!

I hope you liked last week’s newsletter on how to name a business. It was fun to write!

Before I get into the business ideas, a quick ask:

The video format of my podcast on YouTube is going great, but the growth has slowed on the audio side. If you’re the podcast type, would you mind subscribing here (Apple - Spotify - Other Apps), if you haven’t already? I work super hard on it, it’s free and I don’t have ads. It would mean a lot, so thank you!

Ok, now to the ideas.

I wanted to try something a little different today. I come across soooo many ideas every week, and I only have the bandwidth to publish about 20-40% of them. And I’m not just publishing about the best ones, but rather the ones I find interesting.

You might find different ideas interesting! So let’s see below.

There are some of the most interesting ideas, concepts or frameworks I came across on the internet this week, in 60 second video format:

Couch Surgeons - TLDW: Taking apart couches to fit into small spaces for a business is a thing.

My takeaways?

  • Nothing is too niche

  • People will always pay for a miserable job to be done for them

  • The more miserable the job, the more you can charge.

Would this work outside of a big city? Likely so, but not as well. If I were starting this I’d use my scraping guide to find out which areas near me have a supply and demand imbalance, and then get a job working for one of these companies to learn the tricks of the trade.

Repurposing Ugly Stuff - TLDW: Turning an ugly thrift store blanket into clothes as a business.

My takeaways?

Back in college I had an idea I called “Redressit.” A service where you mail in your old wedding dress and have a company make a decorative pillow or some sort of keepsake out of it. It doesn’t have to be a wedding dress, but anything sentimental that could be repurposed into something that’s likely to get looked at or used more often.

I think I got the idea from another company doing something similar but I can’t remember what it was.

Something that looks ugly as a blanket could look awesome as an X Y or Z.

Salad Bar Installation Biz - TLDW: A refrigerated salad bar for your countertop that you keep stocked at all times.

Hear me out, this could be a thing. I made a Reel about it and it’s doing really well, so I can’t be the only one that feels this way.

My wife wants one, so there’s your first customer.

Maybe the better idea it to import them from China directly and sell them youself, especially if most people won’t want to cut into their countertops.

Thanks for reading this. I hope it’s helpful. Make it a great day!

Cool AirBnB Idea - TLDW: A 102 year old church transformed into an incredible AirBnB.

Believe it or not, Americans have been going to church less and less for decades now. It’s not hard to find a church on the market for $100k - $1m. There’s more on the market than there ever have been!

Nowadays, if you wanna win at an AirBnB property you HAVE to be different or unique. That’s a non negotiable. This would be a great way to do that.

Niche Job Board + Others - TLDW: A job board for introverts, built with $99/month plug and play software - AI family photos - seasonal business growth hacking - Love is Little.

Those are all from week’s HoldCo Bros. Enjoy!

Hope you’re having a great weekend. Thanks for entrusting me with your valuable time. You can find my podcast below:
